The Bijou Stove Company was set up by Jan Moss who has more years of experience in building businesses than she likes to admit.

Until recently she ran her own bookkeeping practice but decided to step away from the world of finance to follow her passion for helping to create warm, inviting homes. Living in the Yorkshire countryside, she understands the importance of reliable, efficient heating — but she also believes a stove should be a statement piece, not just a heat source. The Bijou Stove Company was born from that belief. She even died her hair to match!

She shares her log cabin with her husband, Paul and their fur babies, Charlie the Romanian Rescue dog and Millie and Mittens the cats - who also all share the love of a log burning stove!
