With heat resistance up to 650°C, this black stove paint is suitable for high-temperature metal surfaces that are exposed to regular fire and heat. The 400ml aerosol spray makes application quick and straightforward, giving an even finish when used correctly on clean, dry metal.

Directions for Use

• For best results, apply to bare metal
• Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust and grease
• If repainting, prepare the existing surface so the new paint can adhere properly
• Test compatibility on a small area first
• Shake the can vigorously for 2 minutes
• Spray from approximately 300–375mm / 12–15 inches
• Apply using steady, even strokes
• Use in a well-ventilated area, away from ignition sources
• Do not over-apply
• If a second coat is needed, apply while the first coat is still wet

Drying & Curing

• Ensure good ventilation during application, drying and first heating
• Cure the paint gradually by starting with small kindling fires
• Increase gradually to full fires once the coating has begun to cure

• Not suitable for vitreous enamel surfaces
• Not suitable for non-metal substrates
• Excessive application may cause blistering
• If the nozzle blocks, do not insert sharp objects into the can
• After use, invert the can and spray briefly to clear the nozzle
